Abstract :
In this work the dynamic properties of the lab stand for tight band coiling are investigated. To inspect the dynamics of the lab stand, the model has been designed by using MATLAB, SIMULINK analyze packages. Mathematical modelling allowed to determine the relationship between the length of the dancer roll loop and tightness of the band, and the coiling speed. As a result the recommendations for the reduction of fluctuation of the dancer roll loop length has been proposed by improving the stand construction and/or by introducing additional back information on dancer loop length.
