Abstract
Purpose of simulations is mostly to prove correctness of system behavior by execution of a simulation model. Here we bring an approach how the simulation can be useful in the process of realization of systems with intelligent sensor nodes. To make models of these systems we adapted idea of distributed multi-agent system with particular demands that overcomes ordinary multi-agent systems. The work is focused onto mobility, agent size and interoperability. We bring experiences with implementation of agents for sensors with programmable ATMEL microcontrollers and usage of simulation in the process of realization of this type of networks.
