Abstract
This paper describes the design and simulations of reference low power current/voltage source in CMOS 0.35μm technology. Idea of the circuit is based on bandgap reference. Two voltages with different temperature coefficients are added resulting with near zero coefficient of output voltage. With use of Howlland current source the reference current is produced. In range of temperatures from −20° C to 80° C current changes by 0.25 % whereas voltage changes by 0.03 %. Circuit is supplied with 3 V and consumes 460 μW of power. Circuit area is 0.11 mm2.
