Abstract :
Preliminary results of tapered slot traveling wave antenna design with reduced backward radiation are presented in the paper. The design combines properties of Vivaldi antenna and double ridge horn to obtain ultra-wideband directional antenna operating in 0.5-3 GHz band having small dimensions.
