Abstract :
This paper presents acoustic echo cancellation algorithms based on Hammerstein block structure which static nonlinear block and dynamic linear block are cascaded. Echo path model parameters are obtained with NLMS algorithm in developed adaptive Hammerstein filter structure. In this adaptive structure, nonlinear block is defined by polynomial cofficients, linear block is defined by either FIR or IIR filter cofficients. Performance comperision especially convergence speed and parametric complexity has been investigated for proposed approach and compared with other nonlinear approaches.
