Abstract :
This paper presents the development of a transient analysis program based in the Numerical Laplace Transform (NLT). The basic structure of the program and models for synchronous machines, switch, transformers and transmission lines are presented. The proposed procedure and models are oriented to switching transients’ analysis. Numerical results obtained with the developed program are compared against those obtained with the ATP.
