Abstract
In this paper problem of image enhancement was considered. Particular attention was paid to images obtained from computerized system for high-temperature measurements of surface properties of metals and alloys. Image enhancement algorithms for considered systems were proposed. They take into account character of distortions arising from vision system components and specificity of images acquired during the measurement process. Results of applying proposed algorithms to exemplary images obtained during the measurement process were presented. Especially, the influence on accuracy of wetting angles and surface tension determination was considered.
