Abstract :
This paper presents the development of Web based modular information system for the needs of distance learning. The capabilities of this system and development phases are described. This information system is developed by use of following techniques: XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, AJAX, MySQL and XML. For object oriented modeling UML is used. The information system will be available at the following Web address: www.webprofa.com.
