  • Abstract
    The following paper presents a method for texture synthesis that combines Cellular Neural Network (CNN) with Wei-Levoi (WL) algorithm. The CNN is used for fast generation of a structural framework that is used as an initial state to speed up WL algorithm operation. Two modification of the basic WL procedure, which are necessary to implement the algorithm, were introduced.
