Abstract :
The paper presents the constructions of fiber laser based on double-clad (DC) neodymium-doped polarization maintaining fiber (PM) as the active medium. Cavity resonator consisted of Bragg gratings inscribed in the passive core of DC as well. Front pumping has been applied by means of pumps having different spectra emission. Laser emission of 1.06 μm makes power lasers a big challenge to neodymium-doped (Nd3+) bulk lasers. The influence of fiber bending on the absorption level of active core has been investigated.
