Abstract
In this paper there are obtained mathematical models of the saturated induction and synchronous machines. It is shown that various sets of state variables have a common theoretical background what simplifies the deduction of the saturated models. In case of salient-pole synchronous machines a basically new computational a basically new computational assumption aiming to a higher fidelity representation of the main field saturation process is stated. A corrected model of the saturation is considered via a specific assumption preservation of the main flux linkage-combined with the introduction of the computational smooth axis-gap machine. Under these assumptions specific computations are performed and there are written the state equations of the electromagnetic processes for several combinations of the state variables
