  • Abstract
Electric drive system of invalid wheelchair consists of microprocessor control, two transistor voltage converters and two independent battery-powered motors. This system should ensure flexible ride in steady-state mode and during complex manoeuvres both. Demands set on wheelchair control system and three voltage converters control variants are presented in the paper, together with test results of wheelchair equipped with different supply systems.
