Abstract :
For further digital processing and computing of signal parameters, it is necessary to determine the period of a signal. However, this is often not a trivial task especially in the case of pulse waveforms. This paper describes methods of determining the time period of pulse signals, estimating the errors and requirements of these methods and the consequences of period time determination accuracy for errors in further digital processing of the signals of a switched mode power supply.
