Abstract :
The authors introduce a system which enables the evaluation of head mobility in disabled people or in people who have any kind of handicap. Total freedom of movement is obtained by means of RF data transmission and a PC. Medical staff supervise the improvement of rehabilitation. The design uses sensors and industrial components which are easily available and low cost. This system includes both mobility evaluation and the checking of the obtained results by means of the rehabilitation and training systems.
