  • Abstract
    One method of synthesis of three-state BiCMOS buffers is shown in the paper. One pair of CMOS transistors is added to an elementary BiCMOS circuit. Both of the transistors are switched off, when the output is in the high impedance state. Otherwise both of them are switched on, all the time. Two implementations of three-state BiCMOS buffers with positive feedback are described. Their static voltage transfer characteristic is in the hysteresis form.
