Abstract
The results of the research in the characterization of microwave planar transmission lines in multilayered medium are presented in this paper. First of all, the significant acceleration of Green´s functions convergence, which play an important role in the analysis of these structures, is achieved. The charge simulation method is successfully applied for determining the transmission parameters of multilayered structures, and a procedure for the numerical efficiency improvement of this method is developed, using linear interpolation or polynomial distribution of fictive charges. In addition, some contributions in the area of simplified modeling the suspended substrate lines and theirs discontinuities are presented.
