Abstract
In this paper problem of image segmentation is considered. Adaptive approach to image segmentation is introduced. It works recursively and calculates threshold based on local properties of analyzed image. Results of applying proposed algorithm to different industrial images are presented and compared with results of global image segmentation. Especially images of heat-emitting objects are considered.
