Abstract :
In this paper, new-diversity schemes are formed by applying Rotation and Component Interleaving Diversity (RCID) technique to Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) Ortogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems and the optimal rotation angles for these systems are examined for M-ary PSK signal constellations. The examination showed that RCID technique has provided an increase in the diversity order of MIMO-OFDM Systems in 8-path Frequency-Selective slowly Rayleigh fading channel with exponential power profile and the improvement in the error performance has decreased as the M level of PSK signals increases. Also, the optimal rotation angles of the systems examined are found to be the same angles as those of the uncoded PSK signals in the Flat Rayleigh Fading Channel.
