Abstract
The paper describes SIMON (SImulation and MONitoring)-a software for signal processing algorithm development and stabilization. A basic set of tools and simulation models in such an environment enabling signal synthesis, analysis, processing and presentation, has been described. Furthermore, the ability to test developed algorithms during "live" execution on a DSP board, by incorporating the DSP board into the simulation has been discussed.
