Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to determine the profile of students willing to take online courses. The research is carried out on the sample of 431 respondents who have decided to take an online course in IT. By factor analysis we define an interpretable structure of five factors that can best describe the students´ characteristics. Following the statements they comprise these factors are called: learning skills, time management, computer literacy, access to technology, and motivation. All these factors have adequate or very good reliability level therefore they do not require additional correction. The respondents agree to the highest extent with the statements included in the factors motivation, access to technology, and computer literacy.
