Abstract :
This paper describes VNC server application for the Symbian OS based devices. The main idea behind custom VNC server implementation was automatic test environment used to automate user interaction tests of the mobile devices. VNC protocol was chosen due to multitude of client application on variant platforms and open specification. Described VNC server is dedicated to the S60 environment and it is independent on the hardware specification, such us screen resolution or keyboard type.
