Abstract :
Service providers can take great advantage of user private data, such as user´s location, to provide rich and context-aware services. At the same time, user privacy must not be violated in any way. In this paper, we briefly discuss the aspects that are relevant to sharing private data in mobile networks, and we propose the architecture with a user data broker, Mobile assistant. The broker is based on user preferences what data can be shared with whom under what circumstances. A prototype is developed, web portal for preference provisioning is described, and new services developed and based on the architecture are presented.
