Abstract
Propagation and attenuation of incident electromagnetic wave at the frequency of 97.9 MHz along the road tunnel was analyzed by theoretical evaluation and measurements. The analysis refers to Marjan tunnel-a 840 m long two-track road tunnel in Split, Croatia. Theoretical analysis was based on the approximation by cylindrical waveguide with lossy walls. Measurements showed higher attenuation than predicted by theoretical analysis.
