Abstract :
Considers a class of highly structured uncertain systems where the uncertainty region is described by either a narrow modulus or a narrow phase. A measure of the distance to instability is presented and used in a MIMO delay compensator scheme. A strategy for tuning the delay compensation to improve the robustness of the closed-loop system is discussed.
