Abstract :
This article deals with the design, construction and testing of microwave TEM wave applicator with impedance transformer. Applicator is designed to work on the frequency f = 434 MH and its aperture has a size of 100 mm × 75 mm. Applicator is made of copper and filled with distilled water. Design simulation and the simulations of SAR distribution are created in program SEMCAD 13.4 BERNINA. Final evaluation of construction solution is established on SIXPORT for S11 coefficient and evaluation of SAR distribution is done by infrared camera FLIR P25.
