Abstract :
In order to allow efficient website interaction between companies in any industry, it is of crucial importance to comprehend value of the website for users i.e. benefits and sacrifices of the website for the users. Moreover, as every business-to-business relationship involves numerous actors, in order to develop websites that will be used by the numerous actors, we need to bring multiple perspectives to the research on value. The aim of the paper is to elicit value of websites for multiple users in business-to-business relationships. The paper examines value of websites from the standpoint of various users through a case study in a construction industry. It portrays differences in perceptions of website characteristics as well as of user consequences. It makes contributions both to the literature on business-to-business websites and to the use of websites in practice.
