Rule based approach to determining the influence of various business regulations on the amount of foreign direct investment in a country

Whilst a growing number of econometric and survey-based studies have been published that focus on the macroeconomic factors which determine the level of foreign direct investment (FDI) in a country, relatively few studies exist that cover the link between FDI and laws, regulations and institutional arrangements that shape the daily economic activity in every country.
