Implementing e-learning into banking system in Croatia - perspectives and possibilities

In our times of globalised world economy, everything is insecure and subject to changes. The only secure asset is organizational knowledge. The basic role of management is finding solutions to shift balance from information to knowledge. The change in attitude was caused by a strong IT evolution. The permanent education of employees in organizations has become the basis of work. There are various ways of knowledge gathering, transfer, discovery, storage and formalization. The paper shows the implementation of e-learning into a banking institution as a new platform for an active approach to education of all employees.
