Abstract
The goal of the paper is to disseminate some practical aspects concerning 2.4 GHz RF circuit design. The experimental circuit that was fabricated using AMS 0.35µm process is presented. Simulation and measurement results of some functional blocks (VCO, PLL, LNA) are compared. The possible reasons of disagreements are discussed. The final conclusion is that to achieve good performance of RF circuits in nanotechnology the implementation of calibration circuits is necessary.
