Abstract
The paper presents new methods of design and improvement of the cyclic A/D converters (CADC) performance. The main idea is transition to computing the codes using adaptive signal processing algorithms. This allows to develop methods of full utilization of the analogue and digital part of the converters. Particular to the approach is the use of adequate mathematical models and efficient model-based simulations in the analysis if CADC.
