Abstract :
This paper describes the motivation and realization of an electronic measuring unit destined for an electrochemical sensor. It´s main purpose is to be used for residual pesticide detection in aliments. The sensor is based on the configuration with three electrodes, and is realized in thick film technology using specific silver and carbon conductive depositions, and was described in a previous work. A very important aspect for the food residual detection is the possibility to use the sensor in the “field of operation”. The novelty of the presented device is the possibility to be used outside the laboratory, and the complex programming and data management followed by a display using a PDA or other computer.
