Abstract :
In this study, control of standalone doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG), mainly used at wind turbine, has been realized by using direct voltage control scheme. In the study standalone DFIG driven by an induction-machine (IM) has been used. The IM has been rotated at sub-synchronous and super-synchronous speeds by using an inverter. Rotor circuit´s power has been controlled by a rotor side converter (RSC) while DFIG´s stator windings directly connected to the load. Control algorithm for the RSC has been compiled with Matlab&Simulink and driven signals have been produced. Then these signals applied to the RSC by using DSP named TMS320F2812 developed by TI. Experimental results show that implemented system can be produced constant voltage and frequency at different speeds. It has also been recognised that the system has fast response at sudden load changes.
