Abstract :
We analyze simultaneous amplitude and timing jitter performance in commonly believed equivalent phase-only filters for implementing the Talbot-based optical pulse rate multiplication technique, demonstrating different behaviors with respect to classical Talbot filtering, depending on the filters´ spectral periodicity.
