Abstract
Advances in eLearning create a base for creative use of new technologies in virtually any field of science. Whether or not does it result in improvements in the quality of education is mostly up to the attractiveness of the final solution. This paper focuses on a practical implementation of an eLearning system in nature science teaching with focus on phenology, meteorology, water circulation and its chemistry as well as air pollution. The system is designed to present educational content enriched by live data coming from cameras, video cameras, water flow measurement device as well as air and weather stations. Special attention was devoted to phenology observations that are being realised using an innovative system of automatically operating remotely controlled cameras.
