Abstract :
An investigation into physical properties of Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films is related with a hope to make a principally new class of molecular electronic devices [1]. A lot of theoretical papers deals with LB film structure. Now is generally accepted that crystal structure of LB film depends upon mutual interaction of polarized parts of molecules. Dipole-dipole interaction and elasticity forces determine dynamics of molecular motion [2,3]. An influence of substrate where LB films is situated is usually ignored. Usually LB films are treated as infinitive 2-D crystals. But it is necessary to take into account an interaction between LB film and the substrate when one is trying to make real electronic device.
