  • Abstract
    The new side-lobe cancellation algorithm based on the closed-loop arriving angle estimation is presented. The proposed criterion function results in an unbiased estimate of the arriving angles, as proven in the paper. The essential difference between this algorithm and the others that work in closed-loop is that the estimated parameters have physical meaning that provides for easy incorporation of any apriori information. The small number of parameters at full degree of freedom yields the fast convergence rate and the robustness of the algorithm. The simulation results that confirm the expected behavior of the algorithm are also included.
