Hybrid box-based codebook model for foreground - background segmentation in real time videos

Foreground background segmentation is the first step of visual surveillances. In this work a hybrid foreground - background segmentation method is developed by adding shadow and highlight mask to box-based codebook model, which is efficient in memory usage and speed. With these additions box based codebook model became robust to light changes.
