Abstract :
We propose a new method which utilizes the factor analysis in a class-specific framework. This method can be favored in the general object recognition task. We conducted several experiments to show the capability of the method to handle different types of variations in the same framework. Results are very promising for each variation. The main advantage of the proposed method is its discriminative robustness against the increasing number of classes.
