Abstract :
This paper describes a digital click modulator for a class-D digital audio power amplifier. The click modulator is an interesting alternative to a classical pulse width modulator. The modulator was realized using a floating point digital signal processor ADSP-21065L and FPGA circuit Spartan 3 XC3100E. Some simulation and laboratory test results are presented in this paper.
