Abstract :
From the results obtained in [1] nAeolian synchronous generator with conical rotor" this paper presents a method of linearization of nonlinear characteristics of δ = f(v) and Φ = f(δ) of an salient pole synchronous generator used in wind power systems, where δ is the air gap of the generator, v is wind speed and Φ is magnetic flux of the generator. Nonlinear characteristic δ = f(v) is equivalent with a straight line, and the salient pole generator are equivalent with a round rotor generator which would have the same no-load voltage and the same electromagnetic power at nominal load.
