Abstract :
Testing is one of the most widely used techniques to increase the confidence on the correctness of complex software systems. In this paper we extend our previous work on passive testing with invariants, this technique checks the logs, collected from the system under test, in order to detect faults. This new proposal is focused on how the collected logs can be compressed without loosing information and how the invariants must be adapted with respect to the selected compression strategy, in a correct way. We show the soundness of this new methodology.
