Abstract
The paper outlines and verifies preliminarily a new, improved methodology of the time-domain measurement of respiratory mechanics. Simulation-estimation research, reported in the first stage of the document, show the initial assumptions for practical realization of the technique - mainly arrangements for data acquisition and model identification. Original the Mobile Interrupter Module, used during experimental investigations, meets the prerequisites and enables a flexible future verification of the TD-EIT, according to various possible scenarios. Preliminary, and rather demonstrative, experimental findings correlate with physiological indications and other technique of respiratory mechanics measurement (FOT), but should be importantly enhanced in the future.
