Optimized 2nd- and 4th-order HP filter

In this paper second- and fourth-order high pass filter sections are presented. The voltage noise spectral density and the Schoeffler sensitivity are calculated for the simple design procedure and for three different type of optimization. Combining RMS noise voltage and multi parameter sensitivity measure, the optimization results give filters which have lower noise and sensitivity than those designed with simple procedure. All optimizations and analyzes are performed using Matlab programming tool.
