Abstract :
In this paper we present an architecture developed in Hrvatski Telekom (HT) that provides a backbone for various business processes associated with the HT´s mobile network. This functionality includes a communication with different telco platforms (MMSC, SGSN, GGSN, IN, SMSC, VMS, HLR, etc.) for the purpose of provisioning users, collecting and processing logs and their visual representations used for customer care requirements. This architecture is built on open source standards Java EE and PostgreSQL and presents distributed, scalable, robust and service oriented solution. System that implements this architecture consists of three main components: Cupid, Cinder and Cumulus. Each one of these components with its specific features and typical use case scenarios has been described in more detail.
