Abstract
Computers have permeated every aspect of human activity. In a very short period they have become an indispensable tool supporting managers in performing their tasks and activities. One of the goals in our research was to establish for which purpose computers are used by managers in Eastern Croatia. Within our analysis we examined the differences in frequency of computer usage for certain business purposes in relation to gender, age and education level of managers, the management level they belong to, company size and ownership form. Although these issues are of great importance, they have not been systematically explored in Croatia. The results presented here will contribute to improved understanding of the ICT impact on manager performance.
