  • Abstract
    This paper analyzes the system reliability using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). A method is proposed to build a Fault Tree of a software system from the UML class diagrams and activity diagrams. The proposed method can play an important role in the design and improvement of the system reliability.
