Abstract :
Direct sequence spread spectrum (DS-SS) technique is widely used in modern telecommunications and it represents the latest advancement in radio control systems. In this paper we present an optimization of DS-SS scheme for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) pulse position modulation (PPM) control signal protection based on two-level detection. A novel framework for Bayesian detection while keeping false start probability below some specified value is developed. Numerical results are compared to those obtained by one-level detection.
