Abstract
This paper proposes a channel estimation technique in OFDM systems that needs no pilots transmission and needs no knowledge about the channel statistics. This technique is mainly based on that a modulation type with a constant phase constellation can resist phase errors and that with a constant envelope constellation can resist envelope errors. Combining both types of modulation can resist both phase and envelope errors.
