Abstract :
The paper presents an analysis of broadband radar target detection and recognition for target tracking. First parts shows the theoretical background for broadband radars and for target detection and tracking. The nest part is the analysis itself. It has been done for the picture of broadband radar BR24, which has been compared to pulse radar. The focus was put on separation of small targets in small ranges. Thus the possibility of using BR24 radar for tracking analysis has been proved. The works presented in the paper was carried out under the research project “Developement of radar target tracking methods with the use of multiple model neural filtering” financed by Polish Ministry of Science.
