Abstract :
This paper presents a training system for initial investigations of the implementation of complex signal processing algorithms in FPGA structures. The Range Doppler algorithm was chosen for implementation as an example of algorithm used for SAR image synthesis. The hardware solution is based on the evaluation board Xilinx ML507. The algorithm was implemented in Matlab/Simulink using the System Generator for DSP software. The Platform Studio tool was used to build the hardware. The implementation of algorithm process and the hardware obtained are presented, as well as the results of simulated raw data SAR signals processing.
